Brief de Design de Logo

Bossa Nova Robotics is reinventing consumer experiences by introducing personal robotics technologies into entertainment categories. We are a small mid-stage start up company based in San Francisco and Pittsburgh, PA. Founded by Robotics PhD's from Carnegie Mellon, we have proprietary licensed robotics technology from the University formerly developed for the military (DARPA). Serious Science. Serious Fun.

Our kids division is under the trademark I Love Robots(tm) ( iLoveRobots.com). Under this banner, we've introduced two kids toy brands: Mechatars for boys and Penbo for girls (see mechatars.com and penbo.com, resprectively).

Mechatars is an integrated RC robot and Free to Play online turn based strategy game (think pokemon). You download training offline missions (with the RC) and carry out battles online (the game). the toy and game are dynamically linked so that what you do online affects the toy offline and vice versa.

Penbo is an animated interactive plush penguin that gives birth to a little egg containing another little penguin called Bebe. Penbo and Bebe communicate with each other and build upon a nurturing play pattern.

The I Love Robots logo needs to be updated immediately as we enter the 2012 toy fair and PR season. The current design gets lost on package and is overly textured and unemotional. In other word, I'm not fond of it. ;).

We need a logo that is easy to read and can lend it self to an associated icon (like an iOS app logo). Kid friendly with strong technology cue.

I need to develop this within the next few days to appear as the primary supporting logo on our kids pacakaging (like Mattel is for Hotwheels)
