Brief de Design de Logo

Hi,

We are looking to design a logo for a backpackers/travelers hostel (for now 1 hostel, but a chain of hostels in the future). The hostel will cater to backpackers in India who are usually 20-35 years old, usually travel alone or in groups of 2, like meeting other people during their travel, stay in hostel dormitories (with bunk beds) to save money, and are very outgoing. Below are the links to some popular European backpackers hostel for the designer to get an idea of the business. We want to make a cool place for people to hang out and enjoy themselves

We have designed to name out hostel(s) "Asterix" after the popular comic character who travels around the world (thus adding a international theme to the hostel).

At the same time, Asterix is also a popular symbol (the *) and we think for logo design and branding purposes it might be more impactful to use the symbol.

I am attaching some logos from other backpackers hostel for reference purposes. Some of them use a standard circle within which they enclose the logo and put the name of the hostel around the circle. At this point, we think that's a good idea, but we are open to more suggestions from the designers.

We don't necessarily need Logo text, but think it would be a good idea initially.
