I think an important aspect here will be how much you know about HTML or FTP (a method a of connecting to your files on the web). Have you thought about hosting? You'll need somewhere to host your web pages and images.

Otherwise you may want to think about using something like Wordpress to build the site. You can either get an account at Wordpress.com and use a template, or you can install Wordpress (from Wordpress.org) on to your own hosting account and get a custom design based on your two logos.

I hope this helps. It's great to see a young chap doing so much for the animals.

Hi Tracy - You bring up some very good points, thank you!I htink my confusion has come from how much information I should have written in the description for the designers. I hadn't thought through a few things, for certain!

To clarify: I use a web content management site quite often (CushyCMS.com, though I would prefer another) and do hosting through GoDaddy. I have some HTML knowledge and can usually work my way around things pretty well.

I tried a WordPress site for Fox Island Shellworks, but it just do what I needed it to. I also had a GoDaddy Quick Shopping Cart Account, but was never able to make it look right.

If it is better for the designers to work from an existing GoDaddy template and adjust from there, please let me know and I will look into that ASAP.

1. Designing the home page
2. Designing the inner page
3. Make the HTML/CSS
4. Coding in WordPress, magento, custom PHP and so on. Choice will be yours.
5. Installation in your bought web hosting or server.

In your case the budget clearly signifies that it would be a project for HOME PAGE DESIGN in a layered psd file only.
After that all you have to do the next 4 parts to achieve a fully functional website.
