Brief de Design de Logo

I'm looking for a logo for a newly created business. Will need a very basic website as well. The main service offering to start with is a recruitment service. It may extend to other 'business to business' related services at some point.
I'd like to come across as having a new skool recruitment model with the old skool values & work ethic.

I am going for a few options: (I have a few ideas)...

1) A classic car font like the chrome emblem on an old car
2) An old skool garage sign theme.
3) Something that feels like an exclusive guest list / high end executive feel that shows the link between people. Being 'connected' and highly sought after.

I'm also looking to run with dark purple as the colour scheme. This can be the word or even the background colour.

I'm hoping to avoid the cliche silhouettes of people shaking hands etc. so either looking for something old skool cool with a modern edge or something sharp and luxurious/exclusive.

Its all about 'People' and is very relationship/network focused.
