Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo design for an independent, Austin, TX-based Americana band called "The Warhorses". Our music is somewhere between country and rock with emphasis on authenticity and honesty. Ultimately, we are a country band with heavy rock tones and we try to distance ourselves from the mainstream, pop-country sounds prevelant in Nashville.

The overall vision for the logo can be best described as "Old Tyme Tough". We like both vintage and western elements. As for colors, we want to incorporate black to dark brown and different shades of golden brown. We are open to both rounded and sharp edges in the lettering. So basically ranging from a flat/matte vintage 70's finish to a more modern, rich in color, metallic effects on vintage lettering, or a look that can marry the two well.
