Brief de Design de Logo
Deja is a New Cosmetics Brand i.e. make-up, lashes, skin care, products that takes a fresh and unique approach to developing cosmetic products free from nasty chemical ingredients which empower the consumer to feel truly beautiful, naturally.
In the age of the intent super highway where discerning customers have on the go access to information surrounding ingredients, DEJA will become the brand of choice for women, globally. DEJA is strategically designed to connect value to the needs for naturally-fortified healthy living.
Whilst it’s products are going to be natural based, we don’t want trees, leaves or flowers to symbolise this.
Déjà and its meaning; The girl who tries to get along with everyone, The girl that makes you smile, The girl who can be anyone she wants, anything you are looking for is DEJA.
People under appreciate DEJA’s because she doesn't always stand for herself. Artistic, modest... she doesn't think she is beautiful at all and envy’s most.
If she is quiet and unspoken, until you do her wrong after many times then that is a DEJA.
The logo needs to be simple, feminine but powerful ‘modern natural beauty’. We have decided that we like the use of capitals DEJA. We also like the simpler of designs which have iconic and unique aspects to it.
Some key aspects are, we want to use capital fonts, we want it to be bold but also carries a degree of finesse. We want the Logo to be timeless in its design, so nothing too modern or to old fashioned.
We prefer the use of wide lettering as opposed to the use of thin letteringa and we don't want to use the dashes above the e and a. Use a solid font, not too bold or to thin. You can mix the two if you want.
We don’t want a busy logo or anything too clever but it has to be unique and possess some curves and elements that soften it to appeal to the female audience that we are looking to attract.
We like the colours to be used as Black, Rose gold and white when using colours. It needs to be memorable, distinct and iconic in its design. I know we only a couple of days left but if you feel you would like to have another attempt then please feel free to give it ago.
Its brand caption is...
‘The most beautiful girl’
We want the logo to be distinct and memorable on its own i.e. like MAC. Prada, Chanel, Iconic London, but we want something unique.
We will be moving on to packaging and other design aspects once we have the logo decided upon.

- We don't want very bold blocky fonts but nor do we want weak, wispy, scripts fonts, nor to thin or too tall
