Brief de Design de Couverture eBook

Looking for a series of ebook covers for family saga series covering 1925 to 1975. This one first (1935-39).

Wanting something that is NOT schmaltzy! I checked a few covers on Amazon and attached some that attracted me. Funnily enough, when I put them up I realised they had one common element - the model faces to the side or away. So, let's start there! I love the colours of Monsoon Summer - in fact I think I would put that one and The Secret Life... at the top of my favourites list.

The setting for the book is the north island of New Zealand and the period covered is 1935 to 1939. So pre-WW2. NZ scenery if used would be hills and ocean. No mountains, rivers or lakes. Main female character is 29 years old, and a mother of a 6-year-old. Married to a much older, unemotional husband, life is passing her by. This character is blonde, and that is mentioned a number of times. She learns to drive the farm truck, so a vehicle of that type might be okay. Eventually, she leaves the farm and heads to the city on a train. Last image attached would work as right period, on a train, and the model is looking thoughtful enough. Not sure if it can be used though as more permissions are needed by the website.
