Brief de Design Illustration

Overview:
Design an illustration for a 4-piece dinnerware set that will include a dinner plate, salad plate, bowl, and mug. Each of the four place settings will have its own design but stay within the same theme.

The theme of this design is holly leaves.

This dinnerware set is traditional and elegant. It's for the hostess who entertains frequently during the holiday season as well as for the family who wants a bit of holiday flair at their everyday table.

The design should be traditional and simple, and feature holly leaves and/or winterberries (see uploaded examples for inspiration). The designer should present 4 plates and choose one design from the four plates to feature on a mug. Once the design is chosen the other three mugs can be flushed out in accordance with chosen design.

Style and color:
Illustration style should lean towards realistic illustrated style and less cartoon-like.
No specifications on color.

The canvas example uploaded is to help visualize the surface area for the dinnerware. The top rectangle will be for the mug, the two circles for the plates and the bottom rectangle for the outside rim of the bowl. Ignore the bottom rectangle for now and only present your work as 4 dinner plates and 1 mug. If your design is chosen then we can incorporate the other 3 designs to the mug format. Most important is seeing the plate designs now and getting a feel for the overall set.
