Brief de Design de Logo

We have never had a logo design for my husbands residential remodeling construction company he is celebrating 20 years of being in business this year 2017. Because the name of his company is so long "Mark's Construction & Remodeling Co." we are having a hard time figuring out to create something, we are pretty open to design, considering we have never had one, but really want something more creative than just a house or tools. We will mostly be using the design on tee-shirts & sweatshirts that our employees wear. We would use the logo on the back of shirts so people see the logo first.
