Brief de Design de Logo

I need a logo design for my private practice based in Fairfax Virginia called "Speech and Language Doctor." This private practice focuses on providing speech and language services to school aged children (KG-High School). As a speech - language pathologist I work with various school aged children and help them communicate their basic wants and needs, work on articulation, social skills and how to use their language when interacting with other children or adults in various contexts. More specifically, I work with children that are on the autism spectrum, kids that have other developmental disabilities such as Down Syndrome. I work 1:1 with these kids and also interact with their families.

I work full time in the public schools and I am trying to get a few clients to work with after school hours to have an additional income. I like what I do and I put a lot of time and energy into planning meaningful lessons for my students. I have a PhD and am well versed in my field. I also am outgoing and like to have fun with my students. I want to show that this business is professional, but also can have some fun. I would like the final design to be something playful (but not too childish), modern, professional, and show that when I work with my students, they make progress.

Here is a little about me: I graduated from East Carolina University with her doctoral degree in 2012. My areas of interests and expertise include assessment and treatment of school-aged children with speech and language disorders and developmental disorders. I am the author of several journal articles and have presented extensively at the state and national levels on issues related to Autism Spectrum Disorders, service delivery models, language impairments, and treatment efficacy. I am licensed as a speech language pathologist in the State of Virginia and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Hearing Association.
