Brief de Design de Logo

We need a new design for our company based in San Diego but works nationally as appraisers of reusable building materials/architectual salvage for the purpose of a tax deduction and the diversion of reusable building materials from landfills. We would like something that is professional, environmentally friendly yet not typical. Maybe something that is architectual in nature to include the other items yet is not typical or has anything to do with recycling. The final design should represent a clean environmentally friendly look with the architectual element maybe in the back ground and something to indicate a a value or monetary symbol. I am open to ideas. I would like it to be fresh and comfortable. A professional yet open look, not stuffy or corporate.
