Brief de Design de Logo

I need a logo design for a new business based in Melbourne called 'Just Apples Therapy Services'. I am a provider of solely occupational therapy services at the moment, however I may expand to include other allied health professions such as Speech Pathology, in the future. The primary goal of occupational therapy is to enable people to participate in the activities of everyday life - across all domains of life. The scope of my work is difficult to describe as it is so variable. I may work with a child on their play skills, I may be involved in recommending specialist equipment such as a wheelchair, I may work with someone who has a hemiplegia (one arm and/or leg affected) to maximise skills in day to day living. I provide a community based service - working with clients in their homes, kindergarten, school etc. Please let me know if you require further information about occupational therapy.
I am likely to mostly see children (aged newborn to 18 years old), but I could have adult clients as well; hence I would like a "fun" logo, but not "kiddie-like".
Key ideas of business: client centred, professional, up-to-date knowledge/modern, fun, goal-directed, effective.
I am mindful that “Just Apples” does not directly relate to the nature of my business. I chose this name linking the concept of an apple to health; apple meaning crisp, clean and simple (no-fuss) and linking to an Australian saying “She’ll be apples”, meaning “it will be ok”. I will be keen to see your suggestions as to whether to incorporate the “apple” into the logo to reinforce the name, or to avoid the apple concept given we are not a provider of anything to do with apples.
Colours that I had in mind were red and/or green, perhaps making the link to apples with colour…..but totally open to suggestions. I keep "seeing" a red business card?????
I would like "Just Apples" as the main text, with "Therapy Services" as sub-text (?in smaller font and underneath).
