Brief de Design de Logo

I am looking for a logo for the Renaissance Institute. We believe that modern technology will drive a renaissance in learning. We support educational institutions (K12, university, for profit) with support to integrate technology. We are trusted advisors to school leaders. Our web page at www.teacherinfo.com gives a good background on our company.

The logo should appeal to school district leadership such as superintendents, trustees, and foundation executives. I like the idea of an electromagnetic wave transmitting knowledge, but I don't want it too nerdy.

The final design should communicate trusted professionals using modern technology to support time-honored teaching strategies. Professional, but not stodgy. Not nerdy. Stylish, but not too hip that is turns off traditional educators.
