Brief de Design de Logo

I need a logo for a new consultancy company called "Wild Coast Consulting". The company is a very specialist, high-end consultancy which manages stakeholder engagement and public relations crisis management on large scale engineering projects (eg. roads, dams, water pipelines, mining) which are either very controversial or are in conflict zones where the project can exacerbate existing ethnic conflicts. I am usually brought in to negotiate solutions after major conflicts and crises have arisen. I am often described as a "lifesaver", so I want to link this idea to the name "Wild Coast Consulting" with an image that links natural wilderness (usually the context of projects I work on), the coast, the concept of being a lifesaver, and maybe also communication, trust/reassurance and problem-solving. Perhaps a lighthouse, for example, indicating my company is a beacon of hope in a wild/dark place, steering ships away from shipwreck on the rocks. My company saves big projects from very expensive delays, legal costs, and even cancellation of the project, so I want my government and engineering company clients to think of my company as someone they can contact in a crisis to calm the situation and save them from major disaster.

• I would like to have something with a dark coloured background (even a scenery context) which can be used as a letterhead or website banner, but also stand alone without the scenery background as a logo on a white background on a business card, for example. I love rich colour as long as it is very professional, but slightly muted and not too high contrast, as it needs to reflect the peace-making nature of my work so it needs to be associated with trust, peace and likeability.
