Brief de Design de Logo
I need a new logo designed for a new company based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, called 'Chef Skills Victoria'. The company's initial offering is to help partly qualified chefs achieve their full qualifications by recognising their on-the-job learning. This is part of a Victorian Government initiative to develop an increasingly skilled hospitality workforce, and the company is funded by the Government for each chef certified. The company was set up by an established chef branching out into training, and therefore may offer offer services in the future.
The business delivers Government certification against Government-set training standards, and receives Government funding for doing so. Therefore the logo should have a bit of a Government and academic/training feel to it, and the prominent colour should be blue.

Thank you all for your great designs so far.
Our chef is looking for something 'different' to compare them with. He's thinking black and red colours, black sharp swish style font with red rails or shadow, sharp, clean and to the point.
Maybe inside the blade of a chefs knife. Maybe just some lines of the end indicating chefs knife?
