Brief de Design de Logo
I need a logo design for my new social entrepreneurship based in New York called 'Stark Solutions'. We search, analyze, develop and disseminate innovative solutions for consumers and communities that need it the most. We believe that our solutions are "stark" - meaning they are unique and most of all, they are the best. Inspiration for this company comes from many places. Just to name a few: Kirby Ferguson's "Everything is a Remix" and Chris Anderson's TED presentation on "How web video powers global Innovation."
For your convenience, I have already made a draft of the logo (I guess I have some creative abilities!). Please refer to this as a template or source of inspiration. However, I welcome any new designs. The part that really needs redesign is the star burst vector in the center. The one I provided is a copy, cut and paste of Thomson Peterson's old logo...to give you an idea what I have in mind. It is a simple yet effective design. I'm looking for something similar but not exact (for obvious reasons).
When someone looks at the logo, they should immediately have an idea of what the company is all about without asking any questions.
I found out that there was a couple of companies already named 'Stark Solutions' so I'm hoping this logo design separates us from the rest! Please keep this mind: Quality is better than quantity.

Please remember, the subtle things make a big difference. This logo is perhaps one of the most simplest but it challenges creativity and attention details at the same time. Thank you for your time

I will also be contacting a select number of designers in the near future to work on my other projects individually...Some designs were not the best for this project but they would fit perfectly for others I have in store. Please understand.

- Logo must be able to go on a plain black background and a plain white background. For example, you can have one variation of a logo with multi colors, but one variation must be monocrome - be able to go on a plain black or white background. Think about how well it would look on a black tee or white tee shirt.
Bien d'avoir
- Keep it simple: black/white colors preferred. No flowery colors (more than three) and fancy designs.
Keep it 'Stark': Focus on subtle elements such as font type, size, bolding certain parts of words to emphasize overall idea/theme.
Keep it consistent: i.e; Font with rounded edges does not go with an image that has 'sharp' or squared edges.
The star burst vector completes the logo so it should be a good one.
