Brief de Design Wordpress

I have a Wordpress Food blog called KaleCuties.com. Right now it has no life and is very bland. I am rebranding this site to a new named called, ASweetenedLife.com. I would love to have a blog that is vibrant and full of life and personality.

One of my top priorities when a new visitor comes to my site is to quickly understand what the site is about (Gluten-free, dairy-free sweets that taste delicious).

I also want people to feel a connection with me when they come to the site.

Here are some other things that I'd like in the blog design...

1. Optin
My business is driven by adding people to my list so it is very important for me to have an optin front and center/ above-the-fold. See https://www.smartpassiveincome.com/ as an example. The headline that I would like is "Gluten-free & dairy-free sweets that actually taste good"

2. Vibrant/full life
The next important aspect of this blog is that it is vibrant. I like colors that remind me of a SUNSET. See attachments for logo and color scheme. Here's an example of a site I really like that is vibrant: http://www.sweetandfreelife.com/

Also see Image titled: "Sample: Feeling". Notice the feeling you get from the image/brush strokes and how it feels light, breezy, and free spirited.

3. Food Images
The last important aspect for my blog is to showcase my recipes. I have attached a few of them as examples. Its really important for a food blog to showcase beautiful pictures of recipes for people to see so will definitely need this in the design.

2. New logo for ASweetenedLife (notice: don't use the one attached as "Sample/Feeling". That's just for reference of the feeling I like.)
