Brief de Design de Logo

I need a logo designed to encompass a new Australian online marketplace 'GoExplore 4x4'.

The name is a play on the words 'Go Explore'. 'Go explore' the online marketplace to buy your accessories and then 'go explore' the countryside in your 4x4.

GoExplore 4x4 will be Australia’s first online marketplace dedicated solely to the aftermarket 4x4 accessories industry.

The Australian 4x4 accessories industry has many bricks and mortar stores/brands,with lots of competition and lots of small players offering their services and only a handful of larger, centralised providers.

From the customer’s point of view, the new marketplace offers a one-stop shop: access to many providers, rather than having to follow 100's of different social media channels and websites. It also allows traditionally geographically disadvantaged rural and outback customers a chance to buy from anywhere, rather than just the one local store.

From the sellers point of view, the marketplace brings them more clients, who are educated and ready to buy. They also get to promote slow moving and outdated stock.

The industry from a logo/marketing standpoint has also been very much the same, with conservative colours and images like tyre tracks and mountains used in logos.

I would like to see the GoExplore 4x4 brand/logo encompass a new shift to target younger users, who are tech savvy, and spend a significant amount of time online.

Colour schemes I thought could work were a throwback to 80's retro/fluoro (like the mountain bike industry at the moment) of colours like orange, green, yellow, baby blues, chrome etc.

I will still need to reflect that it is targeting 4x4 owners who are looking to buy accessories, so I will need some tie in to the 4x4 industry, but without looking like every other existing brand that has been around for 20 years.

GoExplore 4x4 is an opnline marketplace, not a 4x4 brand.

  • I would like a modern, bold font, but one that is still easy to read and mobile friendly.

  • Colourful - refer the pics attached for other marketplace colour themes (bright, colourful). I want to go either full colour or greys/chrome look.

  • No mountains or mountain range images in the logo. Too many other brands have this already in the 4x4 industry.
