Brief de Design de Logo

I'm looking for a logo for a medical marijuana cultivation company. I don't have any color scheme that I'm partial to, other than that I DO NOT want the color green used. Blue and silver would be good, but I'm definitely flexible.

The logo needs to be modern but sterile looking. If you are looking at other logos as a jumping off point, think Pfizer, Bayer, Glaxo Smith-Kline i.e. pharmaceutical companies. I would like the logo to have a bit more personality than those logos, but nothing that anyone would ever describe as "earthy" or "woodsy" or god forbid hippie-ish. The logo needs to, above all else, give customers a sense that this is a clean and professional business.
