BTW...given the pics of the guys you want in the black spacesuits, there is no way to make them look up at each other or even at the sky. The angles are all wrong...sorry! But, what I will be presenting to you, I think will work...IMHO! :)

got it. The pics are just kind of a guide for me when writing descriptions. Please feel free to change the way they look if that helps. I don't have dimensions for a bookcover. I'm publishing via Kindle, first. Let me see what I can find on the Amazon publishing FAQ pages

The ideal size of your cover art is a height/width ratio of 1.6:1. In pixels, this means that, for every 1,000 pixels in width, the image should be 1,600 pixels in height. To ensure the best quality for your image, particularly on high definition devices, the height of the image should be at least 2,500 pixels.

Ideal dimensions for cover files are 2,560 x 1,600.

For the Kindle e-Book cover image, I found this: Important: The minimum image size allowed is 1,000 x 625 pixels. The maximum image size allowed is 10,000 x 10,000 pixels and your image must be less than 50M.

Okay, so it looks like there are several different book sizes for print. All print images are 300dpi. 5.7" x 3.8" for Medium paperback, to 9.1" x 6.0" for Large Paperback. If I am reading this right, the digital file iamge is 11.8" x 7.8" @ 72dpi. Does that make sense? This is my first book cover...

Here is another opinion I found online for Kindle/ePUB cover image dimensions:
There’s no standard size, but my experience has told me that the best size for an e-book is 900px wide x 1369px high. This is the size in alignment with 6×9 inches. As an example of size required, this is from Amazon:

It has to be minimum 500px wide and 800px high.
It has to be at 72DPI, for the digital version.

Excuse me but do you meant by "Male/Male couple as lead characters."?
