Brief de Design de Logo

I need a new logo for my residential architecture business. We supply house plans and architectural design service to project builders and individuals looking for a new architecturally designed home.
Something professional and edgy. Colour preference for the logo design would be predominantly blue, and possibly have a "blueprint" design theme but not essential. All text is to be lower case.
Main logo to be "midcoast design" with the "and drafting" to be smaller and much less significant. I like the idea of "midcoast design to be written as one word "midcoastdesign" with the 2 words differentiated either by colour, typeface, boldness etc. Open to other ideas outside these parameters.
