Brief de Design de Logo

The company is called:
"RETIA LATINA
Negocios e Intercambios"
We need a logo. The company's name is from the latin word "retia" which means "network". As an international counselling agency, our goal is to deepen commercial, cultural, turistic et professional exchanges between France and South America including the Caribbean area. We do want create strong connexions among these two regions.
We have thought about a logo with the name "RETIA LATINA" and the undertitle "Negocios e Intercambios". May be a jaguar could be interesting or either in a more traditional way a design connecting with the network idea connexions/arrows/electric cable- For the colours, something sober grey, blue, bronze, vinous-colour (and eventually yellow for the jaguar.)
The logo have to communicate our intentions to create a variety of interactions and partnership with South America.
