Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo design for a new events venue in the Finger Lakes Region of New York called The Sherwood House. The venue is a private estate with a beautifully restored 1850's home, lovely gardens, a graceful lawn to the pond and two large rustic barns. We are looking at hosting weddings, engagements, retirement parties, garden parties and other upscale events.

We would like the logo to represent us as a classy but rural venue, and possibly picking up on the architecture of the home itself. (See attached photos).

Inns of Aurora is a competing local wedding venue, caters to a high end clientele as well. We want a similarly classy look.
