Brief de Design de Logo

The Pacific Islands Emergency Management Alliance (PIEMA) is an alliance of emergency management practitioners comprised mainly from National disaster managers, Police and Fire and Emergency services within the Pacific region.

The alliance strives to collectively build capability and capacity for small island states to better manage natural and man made disaster events. This is done through introducing common incident management systems and training and development systems.

PIEMA is greatly assisted by strong relationships with Australian and New Zealand Fire Services who provide bilateral support to many of the 23 island nations.

We want a logo to identify PIEMA - but we are all a bit over tsunami waves, coconut trees and traditional canoes as these have been done to death.

So the key themes are - Pacific islands/ disaster events/ strong linkages to Au and NZ/ Fire and emergency services - Disaster managers - Police/ partnerships
