Please check out the updates to my project brief. From the submissions I am currently receiving, I have been leaning toward more abstract logos with graphical elements that are easy to identify with the text removed. I would like to be able to print or etch the logo on promotional products with the text omitted and have my clients still be able to recognize my logo.

The colors that are working best for my logo are strong blues and grays. These colors communicate trustworthiness and stability, and limiting the palette to 1 color and grayscale will also be beneficial when it comes to the cost of printed marketing materials.

As for the original logo that is provided in the project brief, this is what I would like you to take away from that: The name of my company (and the original moon theme) is meant to communicate to prospective clients that computers in my care are always up, just like an insomniac who cannot sleep. In addition, the Insomniac idea is that I am also always available to take care of issues for my clients. I have received some submission that are based on my original logo and I have enjoyed them, but any logo design that works to convey reliability, availability, and trustworthiness would be ideal, regardless of whether or not the moon idea is incorporated.
