Brief de Design de Logo

We are an HR bureau and we want a new logo for the software that we are rolling out to our clients. We have decided on the name Ink Pad.
For this task we would like the designer to use our existing 'Ink' logo and extend it with 'Pad' - ideally incorporating an image that suggests that the software is effectively the 'home' for the employees' HR records and data. Our thinking is that it could be a roof over the word 'Pad'. However, we're open to other ideas. Please be sure to remove the 'better at work' strapline from the logo because this is not required here.
