Brief de Design de Logo

please read the brief: I am not looking for some auto-generated logo on a fancy background.

We need a new logo for our product: skriblCMS. This CMS is SEO and user driven and currently I am using the material design icon from Google for gesture. It works but I want to replace it with something similar but custom made.

Basically the logo will be used the same as now: right next to the name skriblCMS but I will also use it without the words as an icon.

The logo will also be used on our one page company page as our company logo. The 'image' part of the logo will also be used as favicon - the dimension of this image part should be a square.

So I am looking for a custom made 'skribl'. It should be just two colors (black and white) and I will use it also in blue and white (and most likely in other colors). It should be simple, clean and modern. And should fit in the material design concept. I do like the look of what I have right now - however it should not be the Google icon. The 'image' part is the white circle with the line in it.

I attached the illustrator file that I have created. It uses the Robot font for the words: skriblCMS. Please keep this part the same - I am looking for the image part of the logo. If you believe changing the words part of the logo will make it better - then I won't stop you. I also attached screenshots of the CMS where you can see the logo on it (upper left corner - when the menu is folded in only the image part is visible).

• please look at the provided current logo - re-use the font for the word but I need a redesign of the 'image part'.
