Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo design for a new start up business that markets airsoft guns, tactical gear and accessories to a wide range of customers. The market ranges from hard-core military enthusiasts who play every weekend, to Twenty something market looking for a cool new hobby, a teenage boy that wants to play with his peers and finally a mom wanting to buy a new "toy" in her mind, but she is actually introducing her son to a whole new industry and we want to keep him as a customer forever. We also want to project depth, strength and a little military, tactical edge. We do not want to display a gun as that may be prevented from T-shirts in schools, etc. We actually are entertaining a character based logo. We dappled with some sort of "Lizard-Man", as a character embedded in the logo, but could not do anything with it. We have a temporary logo (Attempt #2) that we are about ready to use, but it does not look professional enough for us. So we are considering changing it.
