Brief de Design de Logo
I need a logo design for a new business based in Melbourne 'Sweet Merci.' I supply sweet food & packaging as a thank you gift for children's loot bags/favors, weddings (bonbonnieres), general thank you/appreciation eg thanks for your support (friend, fundraiser), thanks for your hard work (corporate), thanks for dog sitting etc. and a food styling service for above events such as cake/food displays.
I have in mind two colours a reddish/orange & a blue for packaging eg a small box/cube with white writing, with the option of using reddish/orange or blue colour as writing on a white box or brown paper bag. I would also like to be able to use just the name in either colour on a clear round sticker to be placed on already packaged food items eg lollipop or as a seal.
I have been thinking about an outline of a heart (to represent the sweet & heart felt thanks), with a dotted inner lining to represent food eg a biscuit. Not sure if this makes sense. Then in the centre of the 2nd heart shape, the words sweet merci in some kind of cursive script maybe. The word merci obviously meaning thanks in French but it is also representative of the first part of my surname 'Mercieca' which is orginally from France. My father was born in Malta.
I'm not sure if the heart is the right shape or if so whether there still needs to be some other symbol within it, that reflects the food part. I have considered all the things that 'sweet' could represent but my real passion is for food & I myself am truly greatful when I receive support from friends, family etc. & love to bake them something or buy a sweet treat.

"Sweet Merci" (I'm not sure if Food Gifts & Styling are the right tag words to have underneath??)
