Hi - almost 30 custom creative icons for 290AUD isnt near realistic, any chance you can review this and come up with a reasonable buget ?

thanks for your feedback, i will certainly increase the budget if that what is required to get the best result. I am not sure why you say $290, it was $390 what i paid, but regardless, i take on board your comments and will have another think with the other guys here. Quite a few of the sets are based on 1 concept that will be slightly tweaked to reflect a differentproduct, for example the business card set, and event signage etc, but ill look at how many individual items there are and get back to you. If you ask design crowd they can advise you on a reasonable price guide.

I say 290$ as thats what the designer will get for 1st place, this doesnt include partition payments or over heads to DC, and actually DC will deduct 15% from the 290$ 1st place payment - so the designer will only actually get around - 246$

i did two icon projects a few weeks ago, one was for 8 icons - customer paid 360GBP (priverate project)

the other was for 27 (remakes/modernized) for 260GBP - these dint include over head fees to DC

i think 300GPB plus 15% on top of that for DC is a fair price.
Designers cant send personal messages unless they eccept invites or its a priverate project.
Im sure many designers would love to take part in this contest if the price is reasonable, i know i would.
