Brief de Design Art

I'm building a personal data science brand and I need some way to give my new blog (and brand), 'Amy Loves Data', a face - without actually putting my face on there. I like to tell stories about data science, stats, data itself. and play with code in a very approachable way.

I'm looking for something minimalist and recognizably human. I've uploaded a picture for reference. Ideally, the final design will convey warmth, accessibility, and competence.
