Brief de Design de Logo

I need a logo for a local clothing company. Logo has to represent brand, us and the area. The name of the brand is inspired by the historic gargoyle located on the top of the building facing the Theatre in Boscombe in UK. The Devil was placed there in the 1920's to show disapproval at the theatre 's decision to open on Sundays.
The idea of creating the new brand is to support and promote the town which is quite rough at the moment.

Boscombe is situated on the beautiful coast and attract a lot of tourists and surfers. In Boscombe we have a lot of artists, hipsters, surfers, skateboarders, street art and graffiti artists.

The main character of the brand is going to be a DEVIL.

Clothing is for teenagers, young adults. Skaters, Surfers, Skateboarders. Has to represent the lifestyle.
Needs be original, stand out , awesome, different- making a person wanting to look up what the symbol is.

The new logo is going to be on on t-shirts, hoodies and is going to be used on the clothing labels and label tags attached to the products as a brand.

We are creating a brand.

The brand will have a different lines of products soon. More work for t-shirt designs will be posted soon. We're planning to created special range for kids with a devil as a main character as well.

I do want colours but not too much.
It needs to look good in black and white as well (for clothing labels).

I want the logo little bit edgy, quirky, ironic feel to it.
I do love the 'old school tattoo' style with a modern twist
- open to suggestion.

Clothing is for young and adults as well.

I enclosed few attachments. I really like the devil attached so this is the character i'm aiming- little bit cheeky, edgy, not too scary, not too childish

I attached the file with logo of 'Coventry Rugby Team'- This is type of logo i'm looking for guys- image, name.

I have to be able to use the logo on labels as well. so need to look good in white and black as well.
