Brief de Web Design

Need to finish the development of our wordpress website. Template is a child template on top of its parent framework named "Cherry Framework". Knowledge of cherry framework and use with word press is not needed. BUt a plus for the design effort. The majority of the design changes done using custom CSS and the base child sheets.

What is needed:
1. www.yourtravelfriends.com is currently using a CMS engine the idea is to migrate the main page (www.yourtravelfriends.com) as well as the picture gallery for http://www.yourtravelfriends.com/gallery all over to wordpress.

2. Design/finish home page of www.yourtravelfriends.com/blog to have all the functionality as stated in images 1 and 2 of attached document/screenshots
3. Continue using current theme and logos as similar on the site
4. Front page should have NEWLETTER/SUBSCRIBER FORM
5. Front page should have SOCIAL MEDIA FEED option as it is currently on (www.yourtravelfriends.com)
6. Provide multiple YTF themed template pages to be used for secondary and tertiary supporting pages.
7. Secondary pages should be in 2 and three column configurations with menu bar header/footer palcement


Alternate designs are welcomed we will decided accordingly. Please remember this is strictly a TRAVEL VLOG/BLOG site. SO that theme is key.

Also the idea is to use the least amount of plugins to get this site up and running properly.

• 6. Less dark colors (ways to remove as many greys and blacks from the website)
• 7. 1/2/3 column formatted wordpress template pages that can be used for site content.
• 8. FULLY RESPONSIZE and compatible with all browsers.

We are looking for your guidance,creativity, and suggestions on how this site should come to life. And though we have not committed to paying we have full intent of picking a designer. This website is new to us, and to commit to something that we have never used or heard about before is somewhat concerning. Please also understand the member will be a part of our team meaning they will get credit for their work and they can use it as a reference for future work they may be introduced to.

• Should not rely on too many external addon/plugins. We would prefer this site to stay code based and not turn into a gui WYSIWYG site which needs plugins to stay online and purchased
