Brief de Design Autocollant
We need a sticker design for one of our new lines of product: catnip plants in pots. This is the first product in a line that is going to include different plants and, hence, repeat paid business for the designer through future minor tweaks in plant names and changing UPC codes, for example.
The final design needs to communicate smoothness, modern-design, minimalism, pet-friendly for a modern apartment-dwelling lifestyle.

Doit avoir
- (1) The list of items in the attached guide that point to the mock-up label I whipped up as an example
- (2) Designer must be able to work with a curved pot and be able to calculate how to bend the final design to compensate, so that when it is stuck on the pot, it appears perfectly neat and horizontal. Pot is 6.4cm diameter across base, 10.6cm diameter across top and 9.4cm tall
- (3) Company logo. I uploaded the 3 different colored versions of the company logo for you designers to play with. Further down the line, when the project is nearing an end, I can supply the logo in higher resolution in AI, EPS, JPEG (CMYK or RGB), PDF or PNG
- (4) Last, but not least, fonts must be clearly legible for us 40+ year old year-group
- Whoops, I forgot to mention that it must have the attached UPC barcode. Thanks!
Bien d'avoir
- (1) A friendly, cartoon picture of the cat rubbing against the catnip and eating it (maybe it's falling out of his mouth a bit) in a state of quiet joy and satisfaction.
- (2) It would be nice for the Step 1, 2 & 3 of the watering instructions to be kind of in the style of wikihow pictures
- (3) A small corner (eg page peel) image showing that the label can be easily removed (the factory will make the final label waterproof, but easily removable)
- (4) This point is not really "nice to have", but more like "ok to have if you want it": design can be appropriate for either die-cut or kiss-cut production
