Brief de Design de Logo
I need a logo design for a start-up cloud-based (SaaS) software firm specializing in Organizational Change & Transformation Management. Our product is the salesforce.com of the Organizational Change & Transformation Management space. Our software product powers organizations to Innovate (change) internally (people, process, and systems "touched" by people) by providing Change & Transformation Automation.
Some people suggest XO could be confused to mean "Hugs and Kisses." This would be a bad association for our product brand.
I have considered an authoritative feeling concept like a shield or seal with an XO and a triangle, the greek sign for Delta, which is used in Organizational Change Management to represent the 'change" or "gap" that is being addressed. I also like the idea of a "cloud" design with XO inside, or an abstract design that supports a technology brand and relies on the text label "changexo.com to create an association. However, these are just my thoughts and don't need to be considered. What doesn't seem to work are things like leaves changing, seasons, butterflies, etc.. Unfortunately, as much as I personally like these concepts, they tend to be associated with concepts like a spa, life transition, beauty aids, etc.. ChangeXO is about engineering change, so it is more technical, machine like, etc.. It would be ideal to find someone able to blend the engineering aspects with the social or people aspects, but I prefer a simple design that avoids 4 color offset printing costs. That said, I really like 3D as opposed to flat, and don't know if that requires 4-color reproduction.
I am looking to use the design files to create print, stationary, embroidering, and web assets.

I'd like to better clarify after having received a few responses.
I am looking for a logo that will "symbolize" ChangeXO.com first and foremost. "Change" is not an easy concept to symbolize, but one idea is the Greek symbol for change is Delta, a stylized triangle. However this is only one thought. If a designer wishes to use that symbol, it would need to be developed to reflect that our software supports organizational change through People, suggesting maybe a single, continuous line representation of a "person" be placed within the triangle. This could also be a building icon, or maybe a doorway icon, something that emphasizes change, transition, transformation, process,
3D elements must be included to include: glassy, wet, highlights, shadowing, etc.. Something like a "tile" cube, circle, triangle, etc.. However, the overall design should be modern (visually simple/efficient, iconic, fresh).
Designs need to include a stylized rendering of "ChangeXO.com" (all in same letter height...Design Crowds email program keeps changing the letters to include some caps, that's inaccurate...all letters same height, but may be drawn and arranged artistically. XO can be highlighted differently than change, and .com.
The "symbol" is the main thing, and ChangeXO.com is secondary.
Use of movement - Change is a very Fluid concept, wet, not just energy elements like swooshes and such.
Flat designs will not work as a final product, but can be useful if you want to get a feel for direction.

- "Change" as a symbol that includes XO letters, meant to represent the second in command supporting the top person in command. The idea here is a leader determines the "change," and then "delegates" the process to ChangeXO.
A label identifying our website: "changexo.com." The lettering should have all letters the same height, but can be artistically developed with differences for change, xo, and.com.
