Brief de Design de Logo
I am in the process of launching a new small business, which will offer Forensic Science Consultancy. Our area of expertise currently is Forensic Biology (analysis of body fluids and DNA), but this may grow in the future. The business will mainly involve reviewing case files for both the prosecution and defence, and providing expert opinion on the findings in the form of a report, as well as attending court as an expert witness. In addition, a large portion of our business will be providing training solutions for the Forensic Biology field.
The business identity needs to be professional, but also modern and clean cut. It needs to convey something about us, but not in a cheesy way (i.e. no CSI references please!)
The business name is 'Independent Forensic Services' so we would like to incorporate this into the logo. I am open to any colour palettes initially, but this logo will form the basis of our business identity so we will be looking to develop a website banner, business cards, and letter head based on this logo, so please consider this. In addition, we need to consider what the logo would look like in monochrome, as often documents will not be printed in colour.
This business area is relatively new in Australia...but for some pointers, google Forensic Consultancy in the UK as there are many businesses successfully operating from the UK.

This project has now been made a guaranteed project, just to encourage more of you to design for us. We really need a logo, and are looking for this to form the basis of our business identity. This means we will be looking for the designer to go on and design business cards, letter heads and a website banner for us.

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: Hi
Due to the busy festive period, my partner and I will be unable to sit down together to make a final decision until next week. As such I am extending the deadline to give new designers an opportunity to submit a design! We are very keen to see as many designs as possible as we have not yet settled on any of the previously submitted designs.
