New whiskey distillery in North Carolina (US) needs logo. The company name is Gunpowder Creek Distillers. Gunpowder Creek runs through the property, thus the company name. During colonial times the creek was a site of an iron forge that manufactured gunpowder for the patriots. Some design ideas/concepts include gunpowder barrel, whiskey barrel, flintlock rifle, or an iron forge. The branding focus will be (but not limited to) americana. Style to be I'm thinking about a block font style per the attached pic (colonial style typeface).
