Brief de Design de Logo
We are seeking a logo design for our Video business; Eventide Visuals. We film and edit cinematic wedding videos, commercials, music videos, and short and full length films. Essentially we film anything and have no limitations, however our primary customer base is Weddings with an emphasis on the cinematic & film aspect of the projects.
We feel our logo should be simple, clean, easy to read close up and from far away.
The final logo should represent video, film, cinema, the Hollywood "spirit" of movie making, while also being a clear and defining.

Hi Artists, we are getting some good designs in. I would like to get a few more designs to look over however. After reviewing many designs and sorting through many different styles I believe the following points are the most important.
- No script or super light weight fonts, more aggressive, bold-ish, strong fonts are appreciated. I like a font with "confidence" that has some weight to it. But nothing super plain either.
- Think "Movie Studio" when designing the logo. Some examples include disney, warner brothers, universal studios, the weinstein company, bad robot, focus features, lionsgate, scott free, 20th century fox, paramount, dreamworks, etc. So, creative in that the name of the company is reflected in the logo, but also simple.
- A logo that is simple enough to use for print and web use, but also something that could be interpreted and animated for video in the future.
- Use of the moon, stars, night sky, etc. I have found this to represent our brand "Eventide" better than something like a film strip or camera. I was not so sure about this at first, but I do think it is best to represent the name of the business in the logo and not just have a generic symbol.

- - If possible, have the logo represent our business name "Eventide" in it's meaning of evening, twilight, after sunset, etc. This is not a requirement of the logo but if an idea strikes you, please go for it.
- Our business colors are generally black and blue, these colors are not set in stone and our website will be changing after this logo is designed so please don't limit yourself to just those colors.
- In addition to our name in the logo, feel free to include "videography" or "cinematography" as a tag line in the logo. If it doesn't work, don't force it in.
- A central graphic logo would be nice to have in addition to the stylized words.
- Our customers are both men and women, please keep the design gender neutral.

- - Please no clip art mash ups, we are looking for an original design.
- No old style fonts with curved points, please keep the font edgy and modern.
- No script style fonts, I feel they are difficult to read and distract the customer from the name of the business. I prefer to go for a modern timeless look.
