Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo for our new company "Tokyo Timber" We export reclaimed Japanese timber from all over Japan to be re-used on construction projects and for furniture. The timber is beautiful, up to 400 years old and full of character. The feel should be architectural, sharp and clean. It needs to convey premium and luxury as it is a premium product. Possibly with one of the "o"s in Tokyo as a red circle with reference to the rising sun of Japan or as an off cut of a log that has been cut. however this was just one idea and we do not want to influence any of your design ideas too much. Feel free to move away from this concept. Application to be on website and business cards. Colour pallet black text, possibly with some red used in the logo, otherwise all black.
