Brief de Design de Logo
This is a logo for a company based in Geneva Switzerland, which provides consultancy and services to the pharmaceutical industry. These services cover specifically drug safety (also called pharmacovigilance), auditing services and training services.
A Caryatid is a sculpted female figure serving as an architectural support taking the place of a column or a pillar supporting an entablature on her head.
I chose 'Caryatid' as the name of the company, due to the following reasons:
- I liked the sound (English pronunciation) and graphism of the letters;
- I liked the image of a woman being the support for a heavy structure.
I would like the logo to convey the following qualities:
- strength, support, resilience, composure, equanimity, timelessness, standing the test of time, fairness, independence, sharpness, lightness (even if the task is tough), practicality, usefulness, clarity, good-judgement, depth (of knowledge), originality, creativity (in the solutions and methods provided). I appreciate that some of these concepts are pretty abstract, however, I hope they help you in understandig the kind of image to create.
The services are quite technical and niche, so what I really want out of this logo is that is expresses a strong personality and depth of knowledge, rather than get too much into pharmaceutical specifics.

- Some ideas on colour:
- Purple is the colour of pharmacy, of alchemy, of transformation, power, nobility, ambition, high ideals.
- Purple combination with verying shades of grey, but do not get too stuck on this idea, as I am happy for you to experiment with varying colour shades and combinations of colours.
If you choose to propose a logo with a human figure, go for something stylized and non-obvious. I like 1920s/1930s.

- No red, no pink, no traditional blues (preferably avoid blue as I perceive it as an institutional colour), no schemes with black and white.
No bright shade of a chosen colour.
If you choose to propose a logo with a human figure, no nudity, no sexual innuendos (e.g. no swollen nipples, etc).
