Brief de Design de Logo

I want a logo that reflects my meditative approach to the work of creating pottery in natural earthy colours which can be used by people on an everyday basis.
Each piece of Zen Crafted pottery is hand-built, unique and individual, using methods more than 20,000 years old. While they are organic in nature and design there is still a sophistication and elegance to each piece. I work with a range of clay colours and textures from white earthenware through biscuit colours to black Scarva.
I work from a home studio in the hills of South Gippsland where my work is enriched with constant awareness of the natural environment. The studio has extensive views of the Bass Strait coast with the mountains of Wilson’s Promontory visible in the distance. The property is a bird sanctuary with extensive natural revegetation, so the immediate environment around the studio is rich with bird and animal life, the sound of the wind in the trees and constant changes of Gippsland weather.
My philosophy of life has a focus on development of individual and collective consciousness. Working with clay and making pottery is a meditation practice and my hope is that each piece of pottery will take with it a reflection of that practice to the home of each purchaser.
The functional development of the pottery has been influenced by a combination of interests in style and love of food leading me to the production of table art and defining the clientele that purchases my products. The product range is focused on bowls and plates to be used daily in home and café environments in the presentation and consumption of wholesome natural foods. Currently my most productive sales are through cafes which use the products themselves and have an associated gallery for sales of arts and crafts.
