Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo design for our company Sweet Beginnings. We sell baby and children's products online and in a retail store. We sell anything from prams, bibs to blankets so includes anything baby.
We need a design that represents mother and baby and the beginning of a new baby. I need it to be fun and quirky but sophisticated. Nothing to swirly but clean and to the point. I have included image that we have been using currently. I am open to colours and want the design to be sophisticated but playful and not to look cheap and tacky.
