Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo designed for a brand new startup called ContentYak.

We've developed software that will help companies easily connect with writers and editors to help elevate their content initiatives across any industry or topic range. Outstanding responsive service will be a hallmark of our approach with all of our clients, customers, agents, freelancers and other stakeholders.

For our logo design, we'd like the word ContentYak stylized in a simple way that provides interest but leaves the brand name easy to read.

We'd also like a fun cartoon Yak designed. From time to time, the Yak will be added (or removed) from the business name, so it must be strong enough by itself to (eventually) evoke the brand name when viewed alone. (While it's not a cartoon styled image, we've still attached a photo of a cute Yak we found ... for your possible inspiration. Please note that we have no rights to this image.)

We'd like to mostly stay away from greens (don't ask; lol), we'd also like a color(s) that is bright and appealing online without being garish or in-your-face-ish. We want our colour(s) to show our warmth and humor along with our expertise and professionalism.

Exigences

Doit avoir

• The word ContentYak capitalized as shown and stylized in modern way that is still clearly readable.
• A cartoon-ish Yak that is fun and can stand alone as a logo or with the stylized business name. Sort of like the HootSuite owl or the Twitter bird but without drawing obvious comparisons.

Bien d'avoir

• It would be neat to have a design that combines the business name and the Yak ... and a version that allows them to play separately.

Ne doit pas comporter

• The Yak should have no similarity to other companies using the word Yak in their names ... such as Yik Yak's cartoon yak that you can see at yikyak.com.
• Please avoid (over) use of green colors ... we have a weird thing about green!
