Brief de Design de Logo

**UPDATE**
We are in a beach community with small buildings so nothing with tall buildings please. We want something that makes you think of the beach, ocean, living the dream, tropical.....and no chimneys.....Thanks


We are looking for a logo for our real estate company. We deal mainly with Americans and Canadians who want to invest in Mexico on the Caribbean. So really we are selling the dream and need something that helps us "sell the dream". The logo will be for our website, business cards, etc.. so it needs to be able to be usable in a square shape or longer rectangle. The company name is the Playa Real Estate Group and if it could fit nicely I would like to have my name appear on it like "by Jason Waller" but that is not a must and it may look too crowded. I also like the idea of a character or an image that is part of the logo that could also stand alone and be easily recognized but this is also not a must.
