Brief de Design Application
We are building an app for users to tell stories to their friends and family in response to prompts. Our current interface is very basic, and we want to have it redesigned in order to make it more visually appealing and feel more like a comfortable conversation. We also need one screen created from scratch to match the existing screens.
In this app, the user picks a story topic from a list a friend has sent to them and then makes an audio recording in response to that topic. The other user receives the recording and listens to it, then responds to the story.
Attached are images of the screens we want to have redesigned.
1. Topic Selection Screen - screen showing the three prompts that the user will pick from before recording their story.
2. Story Recording Screen - screen that the user sees while recording their story.
3. Playback Screen - screen that the user sees while listening to the story.
4. Respond to Story Screen - screen that the user sees after listening to the story on the playback screen. This screen should have buttons for the user to communicate with the person who sent them the story, including: a quick record button where the user can send a voice message responding to the story, a phone call button, a text button, a whatsapp button, and a skype button. It should also have a button to return to the main menu.
I've also attached a graphic showing what we are currently using for a logo and color scheme. This does not need to be followed exactly.
As an added bonus, please give an example of how to manage these screens when the stories are not one-on-one, but in a group of four people.
The mood of this product should be comfortable, personal, and conversational. We want people to feel like they're chatting with an old friend. The design itself can be anything at all, so go wild!
