Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo for the performing arts department (music, dance and theatre) at Kongsbakken (Senior) High School in Tromsø, Norway.

Our students are from 16 to 19 years old and our department is considered preparatory to enter higher education in performing arts (university, conservatory etc.)

The design should be flexible, as we want to use it for printing on t-shirt and hoodies, but also for digital media. Therfore tho logo should work when scaled to a larger print-size (for example 20x20 cm on a t-shirt) as well as when its incorporated in our website or facebook page or similar.

The logo should reflect all of the three fields of study (dance, theatre and music)

The logo COULD engage with our (locally) iconic school building, in the small town of Tromsø, Norway (see attached files)

The logo COULD also engage with the fact that our school is situated in the small town of Tromsø, 69 degrees noth in the arctic region of Norway.

The logo SHOULD engage with our students (age group 16-19 years old), but also coming students between 13 and 15 years old. Basically, the design needs to reflect youth culture on some level.

The logo could be a more detailed piece of graphic accompanied by less detailed matched text, OR the text could be a more active part of the whole graphic piece. See options below.

Option one

The logo should include the name of our department and the fields of study. This actually means three four versions of the text part of the logo, with the following incorporated text:

V.1 "Musikk, dans, drama Kongsbakken" (school department)
V.2 "Dramalinja Kongsbakken" (field of study: theatre)
V.3 "Danselinja Kongsbakken" (field of study: dance)
V.4 "Musikklinja Kongsbakken" (field of study: music )


Option two

The logo (no text) should come with a suggested matched font that we could use for writing the name of our school, department and/or field of study.
