Brief de Design de Logo

I am opening my own shop and need a logo to use on the shop front, business card, leaflets, headed paper, website and all the rest of it !

I have a clear idea already of what id like but it defiantly needs to be simplified and I'm not sure weather to have 'Short Bark & Sides' even on the logo or weather to leave it as just the image so if possible id like to see it with and without the writing included.

Id like colour and really punchy so people recognise its us !
I have attached an image of my tattoo, this is a cartoony image of my own dog and this is the image i would like as my logo but obviously simplified and you lot know what your doing !
incase you'd like to see what these dogs look like he is a welsh terrier and this is defiantly something I want included.
