Brief de Design de Logo

We'll use it for banners, online, print media, merchandise like tee-shirts, and medal design.

The logo needs to reference the sport of Olympic Weightlifting.

Some websites:

The logo needs to reference Atlantic Canada or the province of Nova Scotia in some way (this is the first time in many years that an event of this level has been hosted in Eastern Canada). It would be preferable if it referenced Halifax, Nova Scotia in some way.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halifax,_Nova_Scotia

The logo needs to reference the year in some sense (2018).

This event is sanctioned by the Canadian Weightlifting Federation.

If human figures are used--such as silhouettes of weightliftings, there must be both a male and female figure.

Juniors is defined as 20 years and younger.

Any text needs to be in both English and Canadian French

Ideally we are looking for two things: a logo without words and a logo with the words--we have slightly different needs, where words are necessary and others in which words are not necessary.

Exigences

Doit avoir

• The design must be suitable for being used on medals--so not too much fine detail.

Bien d'avoir

• A graphic that can stand alone, without the text and a graphic that incorporates relevant text.

Ne doit pas comporter

• No more than 4 colours--colours representing the Nova Scotia provincial flag would be interesting.
