Brief de Design Emballage

Jaques coffee is a family owned and run company with coffee being in our blood, currently being run by 3rd gen coffee farmers with roots tying back to coffee growing in Tanzania. We grow, process and roast a very high quality Arabica Coffee (It has won the Gold/ The best milk based coffee in Australia at the golden bean awards in the past). We package our coffee beans and ground coffee into 1kg and 250gram bags, which are a bit dated now. We would love to get some amazing designs to bring our product into the future. Our target audience would be 25yrs- 60yr old with a large proportion coming to our plantation to do a tour enjoy a cup, take home a momento and then turn into an online customer.
Content
We would like to achieve a modern standout packaging design that reflects our premium quality Australian coffee. We have a medium roast and an espresso roast lines that we grow roast and sell.
We are happy to see designs that are creative and unique, not just another coffee bag on the shelf, but a standout premium product, that reflects that the coffee is actually grown in Australia, not just roasted here.
Our current colours are red and gold, and we are looking to package our coffee in box bottom bags with rippa zippas with both the 1kg and 250 gram lines, but are open to any other fantastic packaging concepts too.
The bag need to communicate the high quality of the bean within.
Some brainstormed keywords are: Australian, Fresh, Single Origin, Premium, Reserve, Cafe, Barista, Very High Quality, Grown, Plantation.

Doit avoir

• A unique design that stands out from all the rest, ie I'll buy this one! It is more expensive but the package looks so premium i don't mind paying extra for it.
• -Name of roast:(Espresso Roast, Beans), (Espresso Roast, Fine Grind), (Medium Roast beans), ( Medium roast, Plunger/Drip Grind).
• - An area on the back of the package for a barcode Ean13.

Bien d'avoir

• Class added, either in a fancy emblem (think Australian nation emblem except better :)
• Something really attractive in the side gussets
• Clear and concise, uncluttered.
