Brief de Design de Logo

Extramuros (word that means something as "outside the wall") will be an online visual arts gallery based in Buenos Aires. Paintings and photo reproductions will be hanged in different walls around the city. It will also host a a large Argentinian art database.

Marché(s) Cible(s)

The logo must appeal mainly artists but also companies. For the arstists Extramuros will be a gallery without fees or comissions. Companies will lend "walls" to promote Art within Corporate Sustaintability practices.

Doit avoir

• I want something new that blows my mind. Don´t want any traditional logo. The logot has to express rupture and freedom, related to artists who don´t have access to nowadays art market. Art market in Argentina is closed to galleries and collectors. I want to open it with emerging artists and the general public.

Bien d'avoir

• Affter seeing the first subimissions what I see is most designers are playing with the letter E and the word Extramuros, but not making any references to the fact that this logo will represent an art gallery. In some cases it seems like they are pre-designed ideas that you are adapting to the project. I don´t mean you have to draw a brush. It has to be subtle but it has to have something to do with the fact that it will be in the Art world.
